Mary Ann Danczyk:

70, of Stevens Point, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Maple Ridge Assisted Living. She was under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. Mary Ann was born on June 14, 1941, in the town of Dewey. She was the daughter of the late Max & Eleanor (Shulfer) Danczyk.

Mary Ann worked at St. Michael’s Hospital in the cafeteria for many years and also worked at Community Industries.

She enjoyed embroidering, spending time at the Lincoln Center where she enjoyed her ceramic classes.

Survivors include five brothers: Richard Danczyk of Washington, PA, James (Tracy) Danczyk of Yuma, AZ, Allan Danczyk of Stevens Point, Kenneth (Judy) Danczyk of Stevens Point, and Mark (Karen) Danczyk of Stevens Point. Two sisters: Bonnie (Don) Derezinski of Port Edwards and Noel (Chris) Johnson of Plainfield. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law: Clara (Frank) Hass, sister: Kathleen Danczyk, sister-in-law: Barbara Danczyk.

Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Torun. Rev. Greg Michaud officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, 703 Second Street, Stevens Point, is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary Ann’s name will be established at a later date.
