Lucille M. Lodzinski

Lucille M. Lodzinski, 99, of Stevens Point, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at the Wellington Place in Whiting.

She was born on Dec. 8, 1912, in the town of Linwood, to the late Edward and Josephine (Simkowski) Bachinski and was married to the late Julius Lodzinski at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek.

Lucille had been a waitress at both the Blue Top Restaurant and the American Legion Hall in Stevens Point and was also a homemaker. She was a member of American Legion Post No. 6 Auxiliary, St. Peter’s Rosary Society-Rose 12, the Retired Stevens Point Senior Citizens Club and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, volunteering at local nursing homes and the Holly Shoppe.

Survivors include her son, Ron (Anissa) Lodzinski of Green Bay; daughter-in-law, Joan Lodzinski of Stevens Point; grandchildren, Jeff (Jess) Lodzinski, Jill (Bob) Yudchitz, Madelyn and Samuel Lodzinski, Susan (Jim) Peper, Michael (Karla) Lodzinski, Phillip Lodzinski, Tom (Nancy) Lodzinski, Bob (Joanie) Lodzinski and Jeanne (Matt) Chase; 14 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Kubisiak of Wisconsin Rapids.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by her sons, Daniel and Melvin “Mickey;” grandson, Billy; great-grandson, Jason; daughters-in-law, Antoinette and Joanne; 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday (today) at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, 703 2nd Street, Stevens Point, and again in the St. Faustina Room of the church on Friday from 12 noon until the time of Mass.
