Karen A. Kawleski:

Of Stevens Point, died Thursday afternoon, May 17, 2012.

Age 47, Karen was born June 13, 1964, in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of Jeanette (Busa) Danczyk of Stevens Point, and the late Harry Danczyk.

She attended school at Madison Elementary, P.J. Jacobs Jr. High School and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH) in 1982.

She was currently attending the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point (UWSP), working towards her degree in Psychology.

Her marriage to Thomas Kawleski took place on May 12, 1984, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Torun. The couple later divorced.

Karen was a special mother and avid cook. She had a witty sense of humor that brought smiles to everyone’s face, and enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include her daughter: Leah Kawleski of Madison. Her mother: Jeanette Danczyk of Stevens Point.

One sister: Cheryl (Mark) Hammon of Stevens Point, and her two brothers: Loren (Janel) Danczyk and Russ Danczyk both of Stevens Point.

She was preceded in death by her son: Christopher and her father: Harry Danczyk.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
