Pamela 'Penny' Ostrowski

Pamela ‘Penny’ R. Ostrowski:

56, of Whiting, left this earth on May 20, 2012, to go be with God, her parents, brother and all her relatives and friends that have gone before her. She is now eternally at peace.

Pamela has been a lifetime resident of Stevens Point and Plover. She attended Stevens Point area schools and graduated from SPASH. She was the daughter of the late Barney & Jean ‘Elgean’ Ostrowski.

Her marriage to Larry Kropidlowski took place on March 2, 1974; after 15 years, the couple divorced.

She had two wonderful children, Cammy (Keith) Hammon and Lance (Nicole) Kropidlowski. Her daughter and son-in-law gave her the pleasure of one granddaughter, Kayla (nana’s princess). Her son and daughter-in-law gave her the pleasure of two wonderful grandchildren, Layla (nana’s angel) and Landyn (nana’s little sunshine).

Her favorite times in life were when her parents owned a summerhouse up north on Lake Nokomis. After that, was spending time with relatives and new friends. Her hobbies were bowling when she was young, sewing, knitting and crocheting. Since becoming disabled, she mostly enjoyed spending time with her dog, Chewy, and her children’s family, but mostly with her three wonderful grandchildren that made her life worthwhile.

During her heart problems, Pamela found support and solace with her two cousins, Nancy Peterson of Milwaukee, and Barb Klopatek of Florida; also, Brook Hassl, her close friend of Plover.

Survivors include her Godparents, Gene (Donna) Konkol of Plover. Two brothers, Jerry (Kris) Ostrowski of Florida, and James (Sue) Ostrowski of Junction City. Sister-in-law, Marie Ostrowski of Plover. Also survived by aunts, one uncle, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her brother, Greg Ostrowski.

Pamela’s wishes were to have no services. Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2911 Plover Road, Plover, assisted the family with arrangements.
