Doris J. Divine:

84, of Plover, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at Harmony Commons Living Center. She was under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. Doris was born on March 26, 1928, in Adams County.

She was the daughter of the late Sam & Lula (Runnells) Holden. Her marriage to Harvey Divine Sr. took place on April 6, 1946, in Adams County. Her husband died on January 24, 1983.

Doris attended Grace Baptist Church in Plover. She enjoyed gardening, canning, planting flowers and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Loretta (Larry) Ziaya of Hancock, Audrey Becker of Plover, Debbie (Don Skees) Divine of Stevens Point and Marjorie (Steve) Leavitt of Plover. Nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Also survived by two sisters, Vivian Felch of Nekoosa and Wilma Applebee of Wisconsin Rapids.

She was preceded in death by two children, Marlene Flechner and Harvey Divine Jr. Son–in-law, Jerry Becker. Daughter-in-law, Donna, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2911 Plover Road, Plover. Pastor Gary Akright officiating.

Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park, Grand Rapids. Visitation on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Doris' name will be established at a later date.
