Agnes S. Kult, 89, of Stevens Point, formerly of Marshfield, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.
She was born on Dec. 22, 1922, in Stevens Point, to the late Joseph and Louise (Olszewski) Ososki and was a 1941 graduate of P.J. Jacobs High School. On May 12, 1942, her marriage to Ervin Kult took place at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Ervin died on Feb. 4, 2006.
Agnes and her husband owned and operated Erv Kult’s House of Values in Marshfield for 31 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling and going out to eat and she loved reading.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Inman of Stevens Point; son, Lawrence Kult of Spencer; grandson, Jim Inman of Stevens Point; great-granddaughter, Eliana Peskie-Inman of Stevens Point; and sister, Regina “Jean” Zalewski of Stevens Point.
In addition to her parents and husband, Agnes was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Burial will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
