Clifford Anthony Wiernik,
Age 59, of Stevens Point died on February 14, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Stevens Point, WI, in 1958 to Leona (Wanta) and Donald Wiernik.
He graduated from SPASH in 1976 and UWSP with a degree in accounting in 1980. He and his wife Ann (Wolfe) were married on July 30, 1983, at St. Bronislava Parish in Plover, WI, and happily married for 34 years.
Ann is a chemistry teacher at D. C. Everest High School in Schofield. His daughter Megan is a sales trainer with Sears Home Improvements in Waukesha. His son Brenton is a psychology professor at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.
Clifford worked as an accountant and computer analyst with Aqua Finance in Wausau for 18 years. He was a boisterous and enthusiastic man who loved to be involved in his community. He was active with the Boy Scouts, the Knights of Columbus, and the St. Bronislava Parish Holy Name Society. He loved his family dearly, and he loved to travel, be outdoors, listen to music, and eat good food. Clifford will be remembered for his passion, sincerity, and exuberant storytelling. He will be greatly missed

He is survived by his wife Ann, his daughter Megan (Branko) Meyer, his son Brenton Wiernik (Karl Petersen), his parents, and his siblings, Kenneth (Amy) Wiernik of Plover, Susan (Brian) Diehn of Junction City, and Todd Wiernik (Anthony Leva) of Denver, CO, and their families.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 19, 2018 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church. Rev. Ed Shuttleworth officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Bronislava Parish Cemetery. Family and friend may call from 9:30 A.M. Monday morning at the Church until the time for mass. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
