Adolph "Red" LeRoy Lepinski, JR., age 94, of Stevens Point was called to his eternal home on Sunday May 07, 2023.

Adolph was born in Stevens Point, WI. He was the son of Adolph and Julia (Olszewski) Lepinski. He was a lifelong resident of Stevens Point and a 1947 graduate of P.J. Jacobs High School.

He married Madeline Helen King on July 2, 1949 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Galloway, WI. They had five children together.

Adolph retired from the Wisconsin River Division of Consolidated Papers in 1992. He served as Financial Secretary of the United Paper Workers International Union for 25 years and was proud of knowing many of his co-workers at Consolidated. In his retirement, Red worked part-time at the Wisconsin River Country Club and was such an avid golfer that he provided all his grandchildren with golfing lessons . "Red" served as Treasurer of Boy Scout Troop 290 for over 20 years, and took great joy in assisting the development of many area youth.


He is survived by his son, Thomas; daughters, Patricia (Dennis) Duberstein, Jean (Andrew) Kubowski; Kathleen (Charles) Mocadlo and Janet (Fiance' Ross Mark) Schulist. He is further survived by grandchildren, Kimberly, Sarah, & Wesley (Fiance' Maggie Willgohs) Duberstein, Kristin Schulist, Laura (Tyler) Lindeman, Jennifer Kubowski; great grandchildren, Colby and Merritt Duberstein and Harvey Lindeman; his brother, Clifford and in-law, Brian Schulist.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline and his parents, Adolph and Julia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troop 290 at St. Peter's Parish or the Pacelli womens golf team.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff at "The Lodge" at Whispering Pines for the care and compassion given to Red, along with the staff from Promedica Hospice and special care giver, Morgan, for the care, compassion and friendship provided to Dad.

A Mass Of Christian Burial For Adolph will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, May 12, 2023 at St. Peter's Parish-800 4th Avenue, Stevens Point with Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating. Visitation will be held in the St. Peter Faustina room on Friday from 9:00AM until the time of services. Burial will be held in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
