Albert R. King Jr.

Albert R. King Jr., 87, of Rudolph, died on Wednesday May 25, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. He was under the care of Interim Hospice.  Albert was born on March 27, 1935, in the town of Linwood.

He was the son of the late Albert Sr. and Marie (Benkowski) King. He attended local schools. Albert entered the service on February 12, 1958, he served in the United States Army, receiving the sharpshooter badge. He was honorably discharged on August 26, 1958.

His marriage to Alvinia Kawlewski took place on February 8, 1958 at St. Michael Parish Junction City.

Albert worked on the family farm most of his life, he also worked at Consolidated Papers Wisconsin River Division.

He enjoyed, fishing, hunting, telling jokes and fixing pretty much anything.

Survivors include his wife, Alvinia of Rudolph. Children, Marcella Johnston of Rudolph, Marguerite (Dennis) Simkowski of Stevens Point, Charlene (Tom) Zagrzebski of Rudolph and Conrad (Susan) King of Rudolph. He was known as Jaja to his 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by a brother, Tom King of Stevens Point.  Sisters, Donna Glazer, of Stevens Point and Janet (Kevin) Grochowski of  Marsings Idaho. Sister-in-law, Maxine King of Stevens Point. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert King.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 1, 2022, at 10:30am at St. Michael Catholic Church Junction City. Rev Packi will officiate.  Visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point and again on Wednesday from 9:30a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial with full military honors will take place at St. Michael's parish cemetery. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
