Andrew "Andy" O. Sjoberg

On Monday, December 11, 2023, Andrew "Andy" (Orie) Sjoberg passed away unexpectedly due to a heart-related issue, with his family by his side at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Andy was born December 4, 1986 (age 37) in Stevens Point. He is the son of Mary (Nugent) and Orie Sjoberg. He attended local schools graduating from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH) in 2005. He enjoyed working as a Press Lead Extrusion for Crystal Finishing Solutions in Mosinee.

Andy had an inquisitive mind, and in his free time was often found listening to talk radio, watching the History Channel, or other informational avenues. He was passionate about sports, cheering on his Wisconsin teams; the Packers, Badgers, Bucks, and Brewers. In his free time, he also enjoyed trout fishing and hunting.

Andy was a jack of all trades, always willing to help when needed, whether it be home repairs, pool maintenance, yard work, an ear to listen, or a shoulder to cry on. He was a devoted uncle who loved supporting his niece and nephew's many interests and activities. Andy cared deeply and selflessly about his family, always ensuring that they were taken care of, often putting their needs above his own. He might have been the baby of the family, but he will always be the Little 'Big'  Bro!

Andy is survived by his mother Mary of Stevens Point, sisters Beth (Jason) Wojtalewicz of Amherst and Kandra Sjoberg of Stevens Point, nephews Balin, Cade, and Shaeden, niece Eva, and his four-legged best friend and loyal companion "Sammi"

Andy is preceded in death by his father Orie and niece Emma.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Andy's name will be established at a later date

A Celebration of Life/Gathering will be held on Saturday December, 30th, from 2-4 at Central Waters Brewing Company in Amherst, WI.

***The family will be holding a private gathering from 1-2.
