Angela Skarzynski

Angela Skarzynski, age 94, of Stevens Point, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Ascension St. Michaels Hospital. She was born on May 30, 1927 in Amherst a daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Sikorski) Glodowski. Angela married Florian Skarzynski on November 22, 1945 at St. Mary's Church in Fancher. The couple farmed in Pulaski until 1976 when they sold the farm and moved to Polonia.  Florian died on June 15, 1994.  Angie loved gardening, flowers, canning and working puzzles.  She was a devout Christian and loved her Sacred Heart Church where she was a member of the Sacred Heart Rosary Society.  Angie had a sweet, giving heart and will be missed by her many friends and relatives. She is survived by many loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband and 13 brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 7375 Church St., Polonia at 11:00AM on Friday, July 30, 2021 with Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.  Family and friends are invited to the Church for a visitation from 9:30AM until the time of the Mass on Friday.
