Angeline V. Berg, 95, of Plover, WI passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Whispering Pines – The Lodge in Plover.
She was born in Plover, WI. on June 4, 1925, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Jelinski. On august 18, 1952 Angie was married to George (Chic) Berg at Saint Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. Her husband George preceded her in death on November 11, 1978
Angie took great pride in raising her children, Patricia and Robert. She also worked as a waitress at the Sky Club in Plover, a cook at Roosevelt Grade School, and was a supervisor at the Del Monte plant in Plover before retiring in 1991.
She enjoyed cooking, listening to polka music, visiting with family and friends, bike rides, long walks, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. Many Sundays were spent at Grandma Angie's kitchen table, enjoying one of her delicious home cooked meals.
Angie is survived by her children; daughter Pat (Jim) Repinski of Neenah and Robert (Cindy) Berg of Plover, grandchildren Jennifer, Chad (McKenzie) and Jeremy Repinski, Heather (Phillip) Brandt, Brianna and Kaitlin Berg, and 14 great grand-children. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband George, brothers Ed, Ben, Tom and Ray Jelinski, sister Grace Kozinski and great grandson, Elijah Knueppel.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Whispering Pines - The Lodge for their care and support of Angie these past 14 years. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Angie's name to St. Bronislava Catholic Church would be appreciated.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. Rev. Ed Shuttleworth officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Bronislava Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home, 2911 Plover Road, Plover.
