Anthony "Tony" J. Myska

Anthony Robert "Tony" Myska Sr.,

Age 85, of Custer, WI, passed away peacefully, with the love of his wife and daughter in his heart, early Wednesday afternoon, May 10, 2023, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Tony was born February 7, 1938 in Rosholt, a son of Anton and Belvina (Betker) Myska, he was the youngest child of nine siblings.

Anthony attended Rosholt High School.

He married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Elizabeth (Betty) Lorbiecki on October 10, 1959 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Alban and was married for 63 years while raising two children.

Anthony worked for Briggs and Stratton Corp for over 33 ½ years.

Tony worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. He loved spending time with his wife and daughter Pamela. Tony enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, listening to Polka music and watching wrestling. Tony could fix anything, especially cars and was a very good handyman.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth "Betty", his daughter Pamela Marie, and his son Anthony Jr. (Michelle) Myska. Further survived by two sister-in-laws; Rose Myska and Joan (Bud) Olson and a brother-in-law Peter Lorbecki Jr. his Godson David Myska, nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.

Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second St., Stevens Point. Deacon Jim Trzinski officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until the time for services. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Parish Cemetery in Polonia.
