Bennina "Bonnie" L. Szymanski 95, of Plover died peacefully at home on Saturday March 20, 2021. Bonnie was born on May 28, 1925, in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Ben and Dorothy (Peplinski ) Hintz. She attended local schools.
Her marriage to John Szymanski took place on September 14, 1946 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Bonnie worked alongside her husband on the family dairy farm. Her husband John died on May 25, 2006.
Bonnie was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, flowers, gardening, shopping, campfires and sending cards to family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Sandi (Robert) Danczyk, Joan (Butch) Kirschling, Lynne Mehis and Tony Szymanski all living in the Stevens Point area.
Grandchildren; John (Emily) & BJ (Stephanie) Danczyk, Julie (Kevin) Schneider, Carla Danczyk, Cody (Ally) and Owen (Kaiden) Kirschling, Chuck Kinney, Nikki (Kyle) Bass, Zach and Montana Szymanski. Nine great-grandchildren. Sister, Sally Pavloski.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gregory and Kenneth Hintz. Sisters, Dorothy Gavin, Elaine Pulchinski and Mary Ann Niemczyk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday March 24, 2021 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Rev. Jeffery Hennes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point. Masks will be required at the funeral home and church.
