Bill Kolinski age 84 of Stevens Point passed away August 15, 2024 peacefully surrounded by family. Bill was born in Stevens Point on May 12, 1940 to Bill and Isabelle (Nowak) Kolinski. He attended St. Peters Grade School and graduated from Pacelli High School in their first graduating class of 1951.
He was a very active member and officer in the Pointer Quarterback Club. He served two years as president, and was very active and knowledgeable in sports and sports statistics. Have any questions ask Bill K. He was a dedicated fan of the Packers and Milwaukee Brewers and loved sports.
Bill was a member of Moose Lodge #1572 in Stevens Point. Bill was married October 17, 1964 to Lois Buelow at St. Peters Church. They lived in WI. Rapids for four years, prior to living in Stevens Point.
Bill worked for a Chevy dealership in WI. Rapids and then in Stevens Point at Gullikson dealership and all the others that followed in ownership. He retired from Len Dudas, then drove school bus for ten years for Simkowski Buses.
On July 26, 1982, Bill married Marion (Lassa) Przybylski living 38 years at their present address. He has a stepson Duane Przybylski spouse Beverly, and a daughter Denise spouse Ken Glodowski. Three grandchildren Danielle Wyngaard (Przybylski) spouse Matt, Katie Wojcik (Glodowski) spouse Kyle & Kyle Glodowski, 2 great grandsons, Liam and Levi Wyngaard, and great granddaughter Willow Grace Wojcik.
He was preceded in death by a stepson Dennis Przybylski, his first wife Lois, parents, brother Stanley spouse Delores, sisters Grace (Gil) Habeck, Eleanor (Edwin) Eskritt and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Bill will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday August 20, 2024 at St. Peter Catholic Church-800 4th Avenue, Stevens Point. Fr. Jerzy Rebacz will be officiating. Visitation will be held in the St. Faustina Room of St. Peter Catholic Church on Tuesday morning from 9:30AM until the time of service. The burial will take place in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff at Eden Brook Nursing Home WI Rapids for their compassionate care in Bill's last three weeks. Also, Dr Jordan, St Pt Orthopedics.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name will be established at later date.
