Brad A. Dickey

May 13, 1952 — December 1, 2022

Plover

Brad Allan Dickey, age 70 of Plover, peacefully completed his journey on Earth with his wife by his side on December 1st, 2022.

He was born May 13th, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Ned and Judy Dickey (with the special addition of Leah Dickey later in life).

He has left an imprint on all of those who have been fortunate enough to know him. He lived up to his motto, 'whatever it takes', and he especially embraced that mentality for the past 7 years.

He met his best friend & future wife Patti (Miller) at Western Illinois University and shared a mutual love of the Moody Blues. They built their life in Plover, WI raising their 3 children Erin (Aaron), Brett (Laura) and their favorite, Kelly (Jesse) - ( ;) he said that to all of us).

Brad developed many friendships throughout his life and through his years at Sentry Insurance. He had a lifelong passion for fishing, enjoyed his fishing trips with close friends and family, as well as duck hunting with his brothers (Jim and Kurt) and his dad. You could also find Brad along the golf course enjoying all aspects of the game or playing with his other best friend of many years, his dog Lyma.

Though he did many amazing things, Brad's most beloved titles were husband, Dad (Pops), Pepere, son & friend.

He was fiercely devoted to his 3 children and 11 grandchildren. It would be hard to find a bigger fan and mentor - he was the biggest cheerleader!

Together, Brad & Patti loved their adventures traveling with friends and chasing the Moody Blues around the seas.
Many of the most cherished memories were our family vacations and annual trips to the beach, which is where he spent his last week of life with his wife, children and grandkids.

To all of his friends and family who have supported him and have been a friend -SKOL Vikings!

We love you forever-See you first!
