Carol A. Orlik

Of Stevens Point went to see her lord on Sunday morning, July 11, 2021 at the Aldean Debes Health Care Center while under the care of OSF Hospice in Rockford, IL.

She was 80 years of age. Carol was born January 12, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Wanta) Drifka. She attended local schools in Stevens Point, graduating from P.J. Jacobs High School and then obtaining her degree as an LPN nurse.

She married Leonard "Sonny" Orlik on January 9, 1960 in Waukegan, IL. After their marriage the couple resided in Milwaukee, moving to Stevens Point area in 1961. Her husband Sonny preceded her in death on June 26, 2009.

Carol worked as an LPN for the Sisters of St. Josephs Convent Infirmary for many years until her retirement. In her free time, she liked to watch the Packers, Brewers and the Bucks. She enjoyed fishing with her husband Sonny, but attended church was her priority.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Carol's name will be established at a later date.

Survivors include her daughter and son in law Dawn (David) Lam of Rockford, IL. Her three grandchildren; Jason  Bacher of Stevens Point, Molly of Belvidere, IL. and Joseph Krutza of Rockford, IL, and her three great grandchildren Zaynen, Zyrin and Zeven Evans.

Further survived by one brother William "Bill" (Patricia) Drifka of Stevens Point.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Sonny and one daughter Kelly.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday August 6, 2021 at the Pisarski Funeral Home of Stevens Point. Deacon James Trzinski officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. Friday morning at the Funeral Home until the time of services. The Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
