Catherine T. Wojtalewicz

Catherine "kasha"T. Wojtalewicz, age 98 of Stevens Point, passed Monday December 6, 2021 at Willow Brook assisting living. She was under the care of Heartland Hospice. Catherine was born on June 20,1923 in Bevent. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Clara (Makuch) Misiewicz.

Catherine was married to Valerian "Larry" Wojtalewicz on November 13,1948, at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Her husband Valerian preceded her in death on July 21, 2007.

Also preceding in her death by brothers: Frank, Stanley, Steve, John, Joe, Henry. Sisters: Jean, Helen, Mary, Annie.

In her early years she worked in Chicago at American Linen. She than worked at Weber Tackle, Lullaby Furniture Co. In Stevens Point, retiring at the age of 65. Catherine enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, family get togethers, socializing with friends, mowing the lawn, fishing and polka music.

Survivors include her sons Jerome "Jerry" and David (Linda) of Stevens Point. Daughters, Barb (Daniel) Olesen of Pendleton, Texas and Alice (Duane) Firkus of Stevens Point. Seven grandchildren: Justin, Shelby, Jesse, Nathan, Jessica, Chandra, Logan and 11 Great Grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Catherine will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday December 9, 2021, at St. Casimir Catholic Church 203 Casimir Road Stevens Point. Rev. Todd Mlsna will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
