Cecelia Pionek

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Cecelia (Ceil) Pionek, who left this world on February 10, 2025, at the age of 96.  She brought endless love, warmth and kindness to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Ceil was born to Peter and Julia (Bella) Kawleski on December 30, 1928.  She married Edward Pionek on August 30, 1947.  In their years of marriage, they made many memories raising 6 Sons and going to their cottage in Woodruff, WI and fishing, fishing and fishing.

Ceil was a devoted spouse, parent, grandparent, sibling and friend, putting others before herself, with a heart full of generosity and love.  She had a gift to be available for you to talk to at any time, or simply making you smile, and she left a lasting impact on those around her.

Ceil is survived by her Sons:  Roger (Donna), Eugene (Cindy), Jerome (Linda), William, Bruce (Michele);  Grandchildren:  Randy Pionek, Renee Schude, Lindsey Mattucci, Zachary Pionek, Kelly Ackley, Tracy Pionek, Phillip Pionek, Ryan Pionek, Ashley Gajewski, Joseph Pionek, Clayton Pionek, Dakotta Pionek and Austin Pionek; Step Grandchildren:  Michael, Justin, Kris, Kara, Josh, Dustin and Brett, 17 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren and 8 Step Great Grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory close.  Though we will miss her deeply, we take comfort in knowing that her love and light will continue to shine in our hearts.

Ceil was predeceased by her Husband, Edward; Son, Fredrick; Grandchild, Robyn and Great Grandchild, Nathaniel.  She was the last of 10 siblings.

Services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 2nd Street, Stevens Point, WI.  Visitation will be 9:00 to 11:00, with a service following. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
