Chester A. Zimbauer Jr.

Of Stevens Point passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at Ascension St. Michaels Hospital due to Covid 19.

Age 72  Chester was born January 3, 1949 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Chester C. and Jeanette C. (Kurzynski) Zimbauer.

Chester attended school at St. Salomea grade school and graduated from Mendel Catholic High School in Chicago, IL.

His marriage to Sharon Bouck took place on July 5, 1969 in Chicago, IL at St. Salomea Catholic church.

Chester worked for Accord Carton in Alsip, IL. as a Robotics Engineer for over 30 years until his retirement in 2014.

In his free time Chester enjoyed music and playing the drums, cars and loved Polka dancing.

Survivors include his children; Jason Zimbauer, Jennifer Zimbauer, Sarah Zimbauer and Matthew Zimbauer and six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and significant other Janet.  Further survived by four siblings: Margaret (Gary) Kelly, Theresa Bolf, Bernadette Locke and Timothy Zimbauer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Stephan Zimbauer.
