Darlene M. Mickus

Darlene M. Mickus, age 76, of Plover, WI passed away peacefully at home, on Friday, December  17, 2021.

Darlene was born January 30, 1946, on a Marine base in Parris Island, South Carolina -raised in Chicago, IL and resided in Pickett, WI for many years, before moving to Plover, WI. Daughter of Albert and Elizabeth (Troutman) Stewart.

Darlene was married to Kenneth W. Mickus, who preceded her in death.

Darlene enjoyed going to rummage sales and flea markets with her husband. She loved attending demolition derbies to cheer on her son and grandson, she was their biggest fan.

She is survived by; her son, Timothy (Chris) Mickus; Grandchildren, Dustin (Megan  Olson) and Devon (Josh Carver) Mickus; great grandchildren, Carter and Kasen Mickus; her sisters Margaret DeLibero of Alamo TX and Dorothy (Don Liebe) Wojtalewicz of Stevens Point, WI; Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and many wonderful friends.

Darlene was preceded in death by; her parents; and her husband, Ken.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
