David M. Garski

David Michael Garski, 70, of Plover died Sunday August 22, 2021, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.

David was born March 16, 1951, in Rosholt. He was the son of the late  Felix and Elizabeth (Goszkowicz) Garski. He attended Rosholt High School

His marriage to Marietta "Minny" Mager  took place on December 1, 1973,  at St. Bronislava Catholic Church Plover.

David worked as a truck driver for Jerzak trucking for eleven years. Then Struck & Irwin paving for 34 years logging five million miles.

He enjoyed deer hunting, old country music, fishing, his grandkids, driving tractor, socializing, making people laugh and helping family and friends with projects.

Survivors include his wife Marietta "Minny" Garski of Plover. Daughter, Juanita(Daniel) Danczyk of Mosinee. Grandchildren, Anthony (Paige Williamson) Danczyk, Danielle (Trevor Obremski) Danczyk and Michael Danczyk.

Brothers, Florian (Diane), Robert (Betty), Carl (Linda) and Joseph.

Sisters, Rita Jerzak, Alice Klopatek, Jane (Arty) Kedrowicz and Lucy (Darrel) Kluck. Brother-in-law, Robert Wiza.

He was preceded in death by his brother, George, brother and sister-in-law, Tom (Doreen), Sister, Joanie Wiza, sister and brother-in-law,  Debra (Jerry) Yenter. Brothers-in-law, Don Klopatek and Kenneth Kluck.

The family would like to thank the caretakers of David, Dr. Haque, Nurses, Linda, Loura Garin, Jason, Kayla A., Jorie and Brianna. CNA's, Jessa, Robin and Isaac. Also Fr. Albert and Fr. Peter for their special prayers and blessings.

A Mass of Christian Burial for David will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 25, 2021, at St. Bronislava Catholic church 3200 Plover Road Plover. Rev. Eric Mashak will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a parish rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. at the Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second Street STEVENS POINT and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
