David D. Kaetterhenry

David D. Kaetterhenry, age 90, of Stevens Point, WI passed away peacefully Thursday, May 30, 2024 at his residence in the care of his family.

Private graveside service will be officiated by Pastor Brian Richard on August 15th.

David was born April 26, 1934 in Wausau to Lorenz and Jessie Kaetterhenry. He proudly served his country in the Navy Seabees. He married Margaret Accola on July 5, 1958 in Wisconsin Rapids. David lived a full life as a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. David was a heavy equipment operator and owner of Peoples Fuel Company. David loved to watch sports, play golf, read, play cards with wife and grandchildren, bird watching, and most importantly, spend time with his Savior through His word and at church.

David is survived by his children; Konnie (Kelly) Kohnen of Plover, WI, Lorie (Mark) Henke of Powell, WY, Dean (Donna) Kaetterhenry of Plover, WI, Jennifer Kaetterhenry of Xenia, OH, Michele(Kevin) Gunderson of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren; Felicia (Pete) Gremmer, Keenan Henke, Kasey K. Henke, Jaimee (Kyle) Dallman, Dexter (Sarah) Kaetterhenry, Beth (Robert) Woodard, Kyle Henke, Kale (Rissa) Henke, Paris Gunderson, Logun Gunderson, Makala Gunderson, brother; Jay Kaetterhenry, and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Kaetterhenry, his parents, Lorenz and Jessie Kaetterhenry; grandchildren, Kasey L. Henke and Joshua Medina and great grandchild Oliver Gremmer.

A heartful and loving thank you to Compassus Hospice for their care and compassion for David and his family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of David can be made to Brookridge Church, c/o Konnie Kohnen, 5432 Woodland St., Stevens Point, WI 54482.
