David Polum

David (Dave) Polum died unexpectedly at home on November 4th, 2025. Dave was born on April 22, 1952 to the late Steve and Barbara (Aron) in Stevens Point.

He attended schools in Stevens Point graduating from P.J. Jacobs High School. He then took over the family farm for a few years, after that he worked various jobs, retiring from St. Michaels Hospital.

Dave never married but had a special friend Beth Schmidt whom we all adored. He loved family gatherings, the Packers and Brewers, he also loved working outdoors making wood, and deer hunting. Dave will be missed by all

He is survived by his sisters Alice Young and Irene Lepper, and brother Robert Polum. Sister-in-laws, Beverly Polum and Terry Polum, and many nieces and nephews.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Brothers Edward, Victor, Richard, Emil, Vince, Steve, Anton, Ben, and Paul Polum. Sister-in- laws Judi Polum, Pat Polum, Dorothy Polum, Sophie Polum, Pauline Polum, Mary Jane Polum, Marian Polum. Brother- in- laws, Donald Young and Dennis Lepper.

A Funeral Service for David will be held on Thursday November 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second Street, Stevens Point. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Deacon Vern Linzmeier will officiate.
