Delores F. Neis

Delores Faye Neis of Plover passed away peacefully late Wednesday afternoon on December 8th, 2021 at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital, with her family by her side.

Age 73, Delores was born February 24, 1948 in Harrisville, Michigan. She is the daughter of Mildred (Tooze) Lee of Plover and the late Forrest Lee. She attended school in Oscoda, Michigan and graduated from Oscoda High School.

Her marriage to Robert Neis took place on May 22, 1971 at Sacred Heart Church in Oscoda, Michigan. Delores moved to Plover shortly after her husband passed on January 4, 2005.

Delores worked in a bakery in Oscoda for a number of years, and also worked for a Health Care Clinic in Tomah retiring in 2005, and moving to Plover. In her free time Delores enjoyed baking, decorating cakes, and feeding friends and family around the area, as well as a number of arts and crafts.

Survivors include her mother Mildred Lee, her sister Traci (Perry) Pieper of Plover and one brother Brian (Anna) Lee of Chardon, Ohio. Further survived by her five nieces; Paige Pieper and Jennifer, Jessica, Josie, and Jordan Lee, and her one great grandnephew Jonah. Delores was preceded in death by her father Forrest, and her sister Shelly Bernard.
