Diana Howen-Knapp age 60, of Plover, died peacefully at her home on October 26, 2020.

Diana was born on November 9, 1959 in Waukegan, IL., a daughter of the late Marian (Meyer) Howen. Diana attended and graduated from Central High School in Paddock Lake, WI. and received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Fox Valley Technical College, placing 6 th in the State, in 1991, in her Accounting Knowledge and Skills.

She was married to Lester T. Knapp in June of 1979. The couple later divorced. After her children were grown, Diana fulfilled one of her dreams to travel the United States when she received her CDL in 1998 and began working as an "Over the Road Driver" for Schneider National Transportation. Diana received the Companies Driver of the Year Award for her skills, against more than 1,800 Professional Drivers. She was employed with Schneider National until her health forced her into retirement several years ago.

In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, knitting and needlepoint. She taught her children and grandchildren never to judge people, be intrinsically motivated and always do the right thing.

Diana is survived by; a son, Jessie Howen of Madison; a daughter, Amanda (James Stiebs) Knapp of Morley, MI; Three grandchildren, Jacob Strenski, Allyson Thuriot and Ian Jones; great-grandchild, Ayson and a great-granddaughter "on-the-way"; seven siblings, James (Kelly) Howen, Christina Howen-Hancock, Robert (Cynthia) Howen, M. Sherry (Terry) Dickerson, Susan (Scott) Van Slochteren, Dale Howen and Mickey (Patricia) Howen; a special niece, Samantha; a friend that has stayed special in her heart, Harry; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Diana was preceded in death by; her mother.

Per Diana's wishes, there were private family services and her Interment was in the Guardian Angel Columbarium, beside her mother Marian.

Diana went out of this world, just as she lived in this world, as an enigma . . . Live ~ Love ~ Laugh
