Diane L. Winkler

Diane L. Winkler, age 76, of Plover, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday Jan. 23, 2021 at her home.

She was born March 6, 1944 in Stevens Point.

She is the daughter of the late Edward & Cora (Zimmerman) Neimczyk.

She attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.

Her marriage to Stanley "Jimmy" Winkler took place on July 2, 1966 at St. Stephen Catholic Church. He died Dec. 14, 2005.

Diane enjoyed taking road trips, cooking, gardening, feeding the squirrels and birds and especially loved spending time with family and her dog Murphy.

Survivors include three sons; James (Marcia) Winkler of Nekoosa, Edward (Sandra) Winkler of Amherst and Kenneth (Leah) Winkler of Plover. One daughter; Melody (Delbert) Bratley of Plover.

Four grandchildren; Andrew, Dylan & Cory Winkler and Danielle Bratley. Two step-grandchildren; Taylor & Austin.

Four great grandchildren; Nolan, Ryot, Gracyn and Zayda.

Private funeral services will be held and burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.

The family would like to Thank Ministry Home Care Hospice for all their wonderful care of Diane.
