Dolores D. Pozorski

Dolores D. Pozorski age 90 of Stevens Point died Tuesday November 14, 2023 at Wellington Place of Whiting in Stevens Point. Dolores was born on April 4, 1933 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Felix and Martha Yulga. She graduated from Maria High School in 1951. She married Raymond "Ray" Pozorski on June 16, 1956 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on April 14,2015.

She worked at the telephone company prior to her marriage and then became a dedicated homemaker welcoming three children. Ann (Martin) Zblewski, Stevens Point, Karen Sroda(Randy Horkheimer) Stevens Point and Mark (Lisa) Pozorski, Burnsville, MN. They were blessed with 6 grandchildren. Ashley and Jacob (Kortney) Zblewski, Ryan (Emma) Sroda and Austin Sroda, Ruby and Sawyer Pozorski. She enjoyed time with family playing card games, Casino trips, local church picnics in the summer, reading, watching old movies and traveling to visit family. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Alzheimer's Association, Cancer Society or Glaucoma Association.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wellington at Whiting for the amazing care given to mom for the last 1 1/2 years as the place she called home. Also much appreciation to the team of caregivers from Compassus and Transitions.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1709 Wyatt Ave. Stevens Point on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 with Rev. Todd Mlsna officiating.  Visitation at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Following mass burial will take place in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
