Donald (Don) Brilowski, age 94, formerly of Stevens Point passed away May 23rd peacefully at his home in New Richmond, WI, with his wife of 65 years, Christine, by his side and surrounded by family.

Don was born May 16, 1931 in Stevens Point, WI. He is the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Jurgella) Brilowski. While growing up, he worked on the Brilowski family farm and J.T. Brilowski & Sons Dairy. He began milking his first cow at age 4.

Don entered the U.S. Army April 24, 1954. He served in Korea and was honorably discharged Feb. 1956 at Fort Sheridan, IL.

After service, he worked at Sorenson's Floral Greenhouse. Don enjoyed working with plants and gardens his whole life. He worked as a truck driver for Copp's Corporation for 40 years retiring in Dec. 1995. He never had a speeding ticket.

Don married Christine Denk on June 27, 1959 at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Milwaukee, WI. They had great friends and a fun social group with lots of parties, card nights, camping, skiing, and many vacations. Don and Christine especially enjoyed cruises after retirement.

In 2002, Don and Christine moved to Winter Haven, Florida. Don served on the Board of The Wellington complex and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He supported and helped Christine with her many activities.

Don was good at all sports he participated in: The Brilowski Dairy Baseball Team, bowling, downhill skiing, curling and golf. He sank a Hole in One with a 164 yd drive in 2011. He loved hunting and fishing. Always a Wisconsin sports fan, he never missed a chance to watch the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. He attended the legendary Ice Bowl.

Don is survived by his wife, Christine; children: David (Pamela), Dianne Sparstad (Steven), Denise Stanchik (Todd), Kathleen Derrick (Ronald); 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; brothers: Leonard and Norbert and many nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Josephine, brothers: Robert, Chester, Joseph and Myron, sister: Isabel.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Donald will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Holy Spirit Parish, 2151 Stanley Street, Stevens Point. Father Steven Brice will be officiating. The rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM at the church on Friday. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery, 1232 Wilshire Blvd, Stevens Point. Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Brilowski Family.
