Donald J. Eisner

March 26, 1956 — January 9, 2022

Stevens Point

Donald Joe Eisner of Stevens Point passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of 65 at Marshfield Medical Center surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born in Milwaukee on March 26, 1956, he was preceded in death by his father Donald Vernon Eisner and mother Eleanore Burant.

After graduating high school, Don joined the Army in 1972 serving for nearly 6 years as a Radio Teletype Operator in Hawaii and overseas. He was a rifle marksman, received two metals for good conduct, and an Army Service and Overseas Service Ribbon. Upon completion of his service, he and his family settled in Stevens Point where he became an expert carpenter and had his own construction business.

He is survived by his children: Erica Davis, Elissa Sy, Robert Eisner, Dakota Eisner: his siblings Mike Eisner, Jeff Eisner, John Eisner, Joan Villalovos: and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

His humor and jokes will always be remembered. His love will remain forever in our hearts, for love and compassion were his two greatest and most genuine traits.

A private memorial service will be held May 7 allowing distant family time to plan and gather for the celebration of life he deserves. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
