Donald E. Pechinski

Donald E. Pechinski, age 86, of Stevens Point, died peacefully on Wednesday December 6, 2023, at House of Dove in Marshfield WI. He was born July 14, 1937, in Stevens Point, WI.

He was the youngest of 3 sons to the late John and Ann (Groshek) Pechinski.

He met the love of his life, Beverly Jakush, roller skating, and they were married on June 28, 1958, at Saint Peter's Church Stevens Point, WI. Donald retired from the Portage County Maintenance Department in the year 2000. He previously worked at Bake-Rite Company and farmed in the Town of Linwood.

He enjoyed spending time with his old John Deere tractors, and trips to the casino. He also took pride in everything he owned and was always making sure his yard was looking good. Most of his time though was devoted to his loving wife Beverly of 62 years.

He is survived by his three sons: Mike (Jackie) of Stevens Point, Gary (Jeni) of Wisconsin Rapids, and Duane (Lori) Pechinski of Oscala, Florida.

Two daughters: Linda (John) Zick of Stevens Point and Denise (Carl) Koprowski of Stevens Point.  He is further survived by one brother Jim Pechinski of Wisconsin Rapids.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday December 14, 2023, at the Pisarski Funeral Home-703 Second Street, Stevens Point. The Very Rev. Ed Shuttleworth will officiate.

Burial will take place in the Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.  Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home on Thursday morning.
