Donald J ."Big Z" Zimbauer

Of  Stevens Point died Tuesday July 28, 202 at the House of the Dove Hospice Center in Marshfield.

Age 66 Donald was born March 8, 1954 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Donald and Charlotte (Budzinski) Zimbauer. Don attended local schools, graduating from SPASH in 1972. Donald worked for Vetters Manufacturing Co for over 28 years.

On June 1, 1990 Don married the former Delores Mason. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point. His wife Delores survives.

Don had a love for trucks, and his Trucking Buddies kept him busy raising money for many different organzations. He loved showing off his pride and joy, his 1990 M & M pickup truck, and winning many trophies totaling over 100 awards.

Don also volunteered his truck for the Special Olympics and loved taking pictures with the athletes with his truck.

Survivors include his wife Delores of Stevens Point, his step son Jeff (fiancé Dawn Niewiadomski) and granddaughter Emily. Further survived by two sisters; Cindy (Pat) Kosmalski and Laurie (Dennis) Kosmalski. Don was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family committal services were held at the Guardian Angel Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will held at a later date. The Pisarski Funeral Home of Stevens Point is honored to be serving the family. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.com
