Dorothy J. Kolinski

Of Stevens Point, died late Friday evening, November 12, 2021  at the Portage County Health Care Center.

Age 91 Dorothy was born February 19, 1930 in Washburn, WI. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucille (Wrobleski) Bednarski. She attended local schools in Washburn, and graduated from Washburn High school in 1947. After graduation Dorothy came to Stevens Point and worked for Taybr's drug store for many years until she met and married Dick the love of her life.  Her marriage to Richard L. Kolinski took place on June 24, 1952 in Stevens Point. Her husband Richard preceded her in death on January 6, 2015. They had one son Ricky (Paula).

Dorothy loved spending time up north in St. Germaine at Lofty Pines Resort. She also loved playing the sports pools, and often found herself quite lucky, but time spent with her family was most important to her.

Survivors include her daughter in law Paula Kolinski of Stevens Point and her granddaughter Amanda Genovese of North Carolina. Further survived by her two sisters; Charlotte (Robert) Kedrowski and Elizabeth (Fritz) Suchoski, and her brother-in-law Jim (Jackie) Kolinski and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her son Rick "KoKo" Kolinski and one sister Barbara (Greg) Krug and brothers Florian (Eleanore) Bednarski, John (Janet) Bednarski and Bernard Bednarski.

Dorothy was a true lady until the end, you will never be forgotten.

A private family funeral service was held at the Pisarski Funeral Home. Deacon Ray Heitzinger officiating.  Burial followed in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. The Pisarski Funeral Home was honored to be serving the family. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.pisarskifuneralhome.com
