Douglas Allan Landowski

Douglas Allan Landowski, of Bancroft, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at his home.

Age 72 years old. Douglas was born June 23, 1950 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Donald "Trapper" and Theresa (Borchardt) Landowski.

Douglas married the love of his life Geraldine "Gerri" Koltz on September 20, 1973 at St. Peters Catholic Church. They were married for 37 years prior to her passing.

Douglas worked for many years at the Copps Corporation warehouse as a meat processor. He was a talented carpenter, skilled at remodeling and building various projects. Douglas was an avid camper and loved spending time in Northern Michigan camping on Lake Michigan with his wife Gerri. He enjoyed exploring new places and taking long road trips.

Douglas was also a big movie buff where he enjoyed watching his extensive video library of classic comedies, action/war and western movies on his big screen TV in the comfort of his own home.

Survivors include his brothers; Ronald Landowski of Stevens Point and Dale "Mark" Landowski of Fernley, Nevada. A niece Trina (Jason) Dorn and grand nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gerri in 2010.
