Edward F. Grywacz, age 90, of Plover, died Monday Aug. 16, 2021 surrounded by his family at his home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1930 in Stevens Point. He is the son of the late Edward and Esther (Firkus) Grywacz.
His marriage to Eleanor Kawlewski took place on Sept. 26, 1950 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Junction City. The couple has celebrated over 70 years of marriage together.
He was employed at Bake Rite Baking.
Edward volunteered for the Interfaith food pantry Plover meal site for many years. He enjoyed gardening and painting ceramics.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years Eleanor, one daughter; Sharon (Roger) Hewitt of Plover,
one grandson; Dale (Amy) Hewitt, one granddaughter; Susie (Ron) Linskins, three great grandchildren; Hunter, Tegan & Rebecah, one brother; Jerry Grywacz of Stevens Point & one sister-in-law; Eleanor Grywacz.
He was preceded in death by one daughter; Sandra and one brother; Donald.
The family would like to thank Heartland hospice for all their wonderful care of Edward.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Saturday Aug. 21, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Jeffrey Hennes will officiate. Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 PM concluding with a rosary at 7:00 PM at the Pisarski Funeral Home at 703 Second St. in Stevens Point. Also, from 9:30 AM until the time of services Saturday morning at the Church.
