Elaine M. Grezenski

Elaine M. Grezenski Of Stevens Point passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, December 12, 2023 at her home while under the care of Compassus Hospice with her loving family at her side.   Age 59 Elaine was born January 22, 1964 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of Alfred and Genevieve (Lassa) Bialas. She attended local grade schools and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH).

Her marriage to Darwin Grezenski took place on October 11, 1980 at St. Francis Xavior Catholic Church, Knowlton. The couple then settled in the Stevens Point area. Elaine worked as a homemaker for numerous years.

In her free time Elaine enjoyed drawing, painting, cross stitching, sewing, baking, shopping, watching soap operas, birdwatching, cruising around home, playing board games and playing cards mainly Rummy 500, and spending time with her family and pets especially her cat Yupers. She will always be remembered by her smile and her positive outlook on life, regardless of what was handed to her.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Elaines name will be established.

Survivors include her husband Darwin, her mother Genevieve, her son Jason (Karol Wilson) Grezenski, and her daughter Jillene (Daniel) King, Wautoma. Her grandchildren Jayden, Blaire, Callie, Averey, Harper, Kaylie and Jodie, Brothers Allen (Dori) Bialas Sisters Annette (Ken) Levandowski, Carmen (Mike) Wojtalewicz her brother in laws; James (Barb) of Mosinee, Dennis of North Carolina, Allan (Carol) of Custer, Glenn (Michelle)  of Weston, Kenneth (Cathy), Norman (Terri), Chris (Jane), Kevin (Diane), all of Stevens Point, her sister in laws;  Donna (Jim) Holmes, Florida, Cindy (Eugene) Pionek, Bancroft, Debbie (Jesse) Wolfe, Denise Wiza, Stevens Point, and Doreen (Rich) Zarecki of Junction City, and many nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded in death by her father Alfred, her mother and father in law Albert (Lucille) Grezenski, and sister in law Coreen (Ron) Lassa and brother in laws, Ronald (Carol)(Jane) Grezenski and Dale Grezenski.

The family would like to thank the staff at Compassus for their kindness and loving care given to Elaine over the last year, especially Mary, Brianne, Brandy, Melissa, Alex and Chaplain Mark.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second St., Stevens Point. Chaplain Mark Lewis will be officiating.
