Elayne M. Klicinski passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Whispering Pines in Plover.
She was born April 11, 1945, the daughter of the late Andrew Gollon and Eleanor (Raymond) Krajecki.
She attended local grade schools and graduated from Maria High School in 1963.
She married Ernest Klicinski on November 10, 1973. The couple resided in Stevens Point.
Elayne worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Portage County Clerk of Courts Office for almost 40 years before retiring in 2010.
Those who knew Elayne knew that she loved to bake and was known for her awesome desserts. When Elayne wasn't baking, she loved to shop. She found great pleasure in buying little gifts just to surprise someone and make them feel special. Elayne was a kind and gentle spirit who had a heart of gold. Even in her last days, she always had a smile for everyone. We have lost our angel on earth, but know that she will be watching over us from heaven.
Survivors include her husband Ernest, her two children Wendy (Scott) Sleeter of Stevens Point and Ryan (special friend Angie Thull) Klicinski of West Bend; her sister, Lori Gollon; brother, Ronald (Patricia) Gollon; brother-in-law, Martin Klicinski; and many nieces and nephews.
Elayne was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Julius and Rose Klicinski; brothers-in-law, Jerome Klicinski and Robert Klicinski; and nephew, Kory Gollon.
