Elsie R. Hudy age 85 of Stevens Point, died peacefully at Ascension St. Michaels Hospital.
She was born June 2, 1936 in Galloway to the late Nicholas and Julia (Firkus) Yach.
Her marriage to John Hudy Jr. took place on September 10, 1955 whom she had met at Weltman's Grocery Store. John died January 2, 2017.
She was a homemaker and a fabulous cook! You would never leave her table hungry! When she wasn't cooking or baking, she enjoyed working in the yard and tending to her flower beds. She also enjoyed making afghans for family and friends.
Survivors include one daughter; Nancy (Scott Kramer) of Stevens Point, grandson Kyle Krutza (Sabrena Stotlz) of Stevens Point, great-grandchildren Silas Krutza and Cecilia Stoltz, sister Marie (Jim) Garbrecht of Janesville, brother-in-law Richard (Marge) Hudy of Milwaukee, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters & brother in laws, Clara (Edward) Hintz, Grace (Stanley) Basinski, Steve (Luella) Yach, Frances (Ernest) Slusarski, Lawrence Yach, Leonard Hudy, Evelyn Lopotko, godson Mark Hudy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 27, 2021, at the Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second Street, Stevens Point. Deacon Vern Linzmeier will officiate. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
