Elyse T. Sankey

Elyse T. Sankey, age 80, of Plover, passed away peacefully at home, on October 21, 2022.

She was born on July 7, 1942 in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn (Minnis) Arch.

Elyse was united in marriage to Ronald J. Sankey on November 14, 1964 at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Stevens Point (Ronald preceded Elyse in death in 2016).

Elyse enjoyed traveling with Ronald and spending winters in Arizona with him until their move to Nevada. Spending time with and being around her family and friends was her greatest joy. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her brother, Norwood "Woody" (Chris) Arch; niece, Melanie (Jerry) McDougal; nephew, Devin Arch; brother-in-law, Nick Streno; and sister-in-law, Charlotte Disher; along with a host of other relatives and good friends.

Elyse was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald; and her sister, Linda Streno.

Following Elyse's wishes, private family services and burial will be held in Arizona. Interment will be next to her husband, Ronald.

Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Elyse's name are encouraged to do so to the donor's favorite charity.
