Everett "Harvey" H. Slack

Harvey Slack,71, of Plover WI passed away December 26th, 2024. He was born on September 6th, 1953, in Stevens Point, WI. Harvey worked as a line operator at McCains (formerly Ore-idas) in Plover, WI for 28 years.

On December 14th, 1974, he married his best friend, Debra Pezewski. Together they had four children, Jon, Kristy, Holly and Joseph.

Harvey loved baseball and played for many local softball teams like the Slackers, the Relatives, and McCains. He also was a little league umpire and coach for many years.

He loved watching all Wisconsin sports teams. You didn't need to be in the same room as him to know if his team was doing well or not. He also loved fishing, deer hunting, bowling and hanging out with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Slack and Katherine Slack (Higgins), brother-in-law Tom, mother and father-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Harvey is survived by his wife Deb of 50 years, his sister Joyce Slack, children Jon Slack, Kristy (Logan) Earnest, Holly Slack, and Joseph Slack, Grandchildren Jonathan, Austin, Ellery and Devon.

A Celebration of Life service for Everett will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday January 2, 2025, at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home 2911 Plover Road Plover. Chaplin Mark Lewis will officiate.

Visitation on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the Pisarski Plover Funeral Home.
