George Glodowski, 80, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024, at home after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 22, 1944, in Stevens Point Wisconsin to Valerian and Cecilia (Bigalke) Glodowski. He was a proud lifelong resident of Stevens Point and member of St. Peter's Church. George was a 1962 graduate of Pacelli high school and later completed his associate degree at Midstate Technical College.

Being surrounded by family brought him great joy no matter whether it was for large family celebrations, Sunday dinner gatherings, or frequent visits from the grandchildren.
George's career included working at the Xerox Corporation for over 30 years as a technical representative. He had the knowledge and ability to fix just about anything and enjoyed sharing his understanding of how things operated. During his free time, he thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, spending time watching the birds and soaking up the warmth of the sun. His hobbies included fishing, deer hunting, and gardening.
George was a member of the Knights of Columbus and relished his many years in their bowling league. A favorite pastime shared with his family was watching the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers games along with many basketball, football, volleyball, softball and hockey games that his grandchildren played in.
