George Herbert Minor Jr, age 68, sadly left us unexpectedly, on February 6, 2024. He was born on February 6, 1956 to George Sr and Eunice (Manske) Minor in Monona WI where George attended school. George then worked as a merchandiser in Monona before moving to Green Bay to continue his career. George met the love of his life Susie in Green Bay where they started a lifetime of amazing memories which started with their wedding on December 13, 1980.

George and Susie moved around for his job as a merchandise buyer. They have been fortunate enough to adventure together to a variety of beautiful cities starting in Stevens Point WI, going to Green Bay WI, Waunakee WI, Sauk City WI, West Allis WI, Great Falls MT, Lufkin TX, Keen NH, and back to the hometown of Stevens Point WI where he could appreciate nature and be among family and friends.
George and his wife, Susie, were avid race fans and traveled often. He attended the Daytona 500 several times. George loved the Packers, the Badgers, the races, hunting, fishing, golf, and rides through the beautiful state of Wisconsin. He was even fortunate enough to raise the flag at the Nascar Race in Watkins Glen, NY and work the Professional Senior Open Golf Tournament at Sentry in Stevens Point.  However, he mostly loved his wife, nieces, and nephews as well as his great nieces and nephews. George had a smile that could light up the room, he could make you laugh, and was a huge advocate of bringing people together.

Survivors include:  his wife; Susan (Zalewski) Minor; his brothers – Thomas (Linda) Minor and Daniel (Barbara) Minor and their children; and his in-laws Anthony (Sandra) Zalewski, Judy (Myron)  Jurgella, Donald (Lauri) Zalewski, Karen Zalewski, and Sharon (Raymond) Waldoch.

He is preceded in death by his parents George Sr and Eunice (Manske) Minor, his grandparents, his mother and father in-law Anton and Frances (Kotowicz) Zalewski, and his brother-in-law Michael (Karen) Zalewski.
