Stevens Point

G erald "Gil" Molski

Jerry passed away peacefully surrounded by family February 20,2024.

On a beautiful starry night, Jerry was born to Gilbert and Clara Molski on July 20, 1941, the first of six children.

He grew up in Stevens Point graduating from PJ Jacobs High School and then enlisting in the Military.

He served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1962.

Continuing his journey, he married Carol Olsen, and they were blessed with children Mark (Ann) and Jennifer (Wes). He worked as an accountant for Hannon's Pharmacy and the Stevens Point Brewery. He was an avid fisherman, sports enthusiast, and casino aficionado. He was also a spirited entrepreneur which included a bar, a restaurant, and a racing horse.

Survivors include his children, grandchildren, and siblings Connie (Betty), Carol, Jim (Carol) and Diane (Bob).

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Sam (Joyce).

There is only one way to describe Gil: Big-hearted and kind, with a vivacious presence, captivating smile, and contagious laugh. He may be currently entertaining all in Heaven with his impressions of John Wayne, James Cagney and of course, Elvis. Even the Saints cannot escape. Thank you, Dad , Thank you very much.

The family would like to thank all well-wishers for their heart-felt thoughts and prayers. Remember to hug your loved ones, or at least call, and make each day count.
