Gloria A. Walkiewicz

Gloria Ann Walkiewicz was born July 28, 1931 in Stevens Point, WI, daughter of Harry and Mary Helminski. She attended local schools, graduating from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1949.

On October 27, 1949 she married George Romsa. They were divorced in 1961. On July 5, 1969 she married Thomas A. Walkiewicz. She worked several places locally (25 yrs) doing office work. She was a member of St. Stanislaus church all her life.

Survivors includes 3 daughters, Kathleen Owens – Junction City, Paulette Romsa – Ashland and Bonnie Guokas – Port Washington and one son, Kerry Romsa – Pelican Lake. Additional survivors include 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Thomas.

Gloria enjoyed playing cards and dancing in her younger years. After retirement she enjoyed traveling to Arizona with Thomas each winter. In lieu of flowers please send any cash donations to Saint Mary's Church of Torun. As per Gloria's wishes no services will be held.
