Harry G. (Gerald) Rozak

Of  Plover passed away late Monday evening at Aspirus St. Michaels Hospital.

Age 87 Harry was born January 10, 1935 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Frank and Verna (Hintz) Rozak.

His marriage to Dorothy Obremski took place on November 27, 1956 at St. Casimir Catholic Church. After their marriage the couple settled in the Town of Knowlton, moving to Stevens Point area in 1959. His wife Dorothy survives.

Harry worked for Lullabye Furniture for many years until his retirement in 1991. In his younger years Harry loved the outdoors, deer, squirrel and rabbit hunting, ice fishing, mushroom picking  and enjoyed feeding his birds and wildlife around his home. He enjoyed cutting grass, and took great pride in how his yard looked.

He also loved tinkering  in his  work bench in his garage, and would sit outside watching thunderstorms especially the lighting during the storm. His most precious time was being with family, and would not miss any softball games that his sons, daughter and grandchildren played.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, his five sons; Dennis (Kathy) Rozak, Henry (Sharon) Rozak, John (Lisa) Rozak, Jerry (Joann) Rozak, Darrell Rozak and his daughter Lori Rozak. Further survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Leonard and Richard Rozak, and two sisters Irene King and Clara Stanchik.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 5, 2022 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church. Rev. Eric Mashak officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bronislava Parish Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. Thursday at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home of Plover until 7:00 P.M. and from 10:00 A.M. Friday morning at St. Bronislava Church until the time for mass. There will be a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Thursday evening to conclude the visitation.
