Irene Singer

Irene M Singer, age 94, of Stevens Point, passed away on Monday February 7, 2022 after a long hard fight with Alzheimer's, in the loving care and comfort of her son and daughter-in-law's home.

She was born January 21, 1928 to Lawrence & Victoria (Mruz) Pasdo in Chicago, IL.

Moving to Jordan Road in the Town of Hull as a child.  After her mother passed away when Irene was 7, she then went to live in the Catholic Girls home in Green Bay, WI.  As a teenager she went back to Chicago and found factory work.

She married Walter Singer in Chicago, he preceded her in death in 1978.

She had one son William.  In the 1970's they settled in Whiting, WI.  She was a meticulous house cleaner and was a great cook and baker.

She is survived by her loving son William (Tammy) Singer and two grandchildren Rory and Hannah.

She is also survived by her nephew Jerry (Rose) Pasdo and nieces Roseanne (Frank) Barbers and Donna (John) Brandenburg.

She was preceded in death by her sister Ann (Nick) Thomas and brothers, Stanley (Lorraine), John (Emily), Joseph (Jenni) & Frank (Sophie).
