James "Jim" J. Wrobleski

Jim J. Wrobleski, age 69, of Rhinelander, formerly of Stevens Point, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 24, 2022.

Jim was born on August 13, 1952, in Stevens Point, a son of Joseph and Germaine (Bialas) Wroblewski-Bannach. Jim attended Pacelli High School in Stevens Point and graduated in 1970.

He was an active practicing Catholic.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being in the woods.  He cherished spending time with his grandson and family.  Jim loved to fish for Musky and was always willing to give out tips and tricks. As a lifetime member of "Bill's Musky Club", he earned many trophies and awards, often for the large muskies he caught.  However, he was most proud of his "2019 Sportsman Award", the highest honor a club member can receive. Jim earned this award for his time and effort coordinating the Annual Benefit for Junior Club Members, as a memorial in honor of his son Lance.

Jim is survived by; his son, Lane Wrobleski of Rhinelander; daughter, Tiffany (Michael) Brown of Wausau; grandson, Micha Brown; Lane and Tiffany's mother; Marlene Wrobleski; sister, Charmaine (Timothy) Kennedy of Almond; and numerous other relatives and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by; his parents; his sister, Nancy; and his son, Lance.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, 800 4 th Ave., Stevens Point, at 10:30AM on Thursday, March 3, 2022 with Rev Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating. Burial will follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at the St. Faustina Room of St. Peter Church, on Thursday, from 9:00AM until the time of the Mass.
