Jean E. Moss

Jean Moss, 90, formerly of Stevens Point, died on Sunday December 15, 2024, at Whispering Pines in Plover.  Jean was born on September 9, 1934, in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Kay Walkush. She attended local schools. Her marriage to Eugene "Gene" Moss took place on April 7, 1956, in Stevens Point. He husband preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 2018.

Jean worked at M & I Bank in Stevens Point for a number of years. She was a member of St. Anne's Society and was a Eucharist Minister at St. Stephens Parish.

She enjoyed camping, golfing and bowling.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Moss of Plover and her son, Bruce (Tammi) Moss of North Carolina.  Grandchildren, Jeremy, Keith, Scott (Jill). Great-Grandchildren, Caden, Brody and Melody. Also survived by her brothers, Gordy (Mary) Walkush and Mark (Ann) Walkush.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dick and Jere.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Jean will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday December 19, 2024, at St. Stephens Catholic Church 1401 Clark Street Stevens Point. Fr. Jeffrey Hennes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
