Jeanette J. Hench

Jeanette Joyce Hench, born in Chicago in the year 1939, to Herman and Genevieve (Johnson) Leslie, passed away on November 2nd, 2022, at age 83.

She is predeceased by the love of her life, Michael W. Hench, her mother and father, three brothers, Ritchie, James, and Gerald, her youngest daughter, Candace, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Carl (Dawn) Foote, Cheryl Schulz, and Caryl (Ken Charneski) Foote, fourteen grandchildren, Keenan (Bobbie) Foote, Carla (Dave Travis) Glodowski, Rachel (Sam) Krueger, Wayne (Jessica) Zunker, Carl Vanderziel, Arthur Tuttle, Valerie (Paul Field) Charneski, Ivan Charneski, Moriel (Grant Flynn) Charneski,  Elonah Charneski, Heaven Richey, Michael Richey, Jeanette Tesch, Mitchell Tesch, four sisters,  Joyce Thiel, Jaqueline (Dale) Nass, Juelle (Michael) Wilk, Jean (Keith) Jones, and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Jeanette worked as a bartender, cook, baker, and nurses aid, all while raising four children alone.

She met Michael when she was in her 40s, and together they enjoyed fishing, bingo, trips to the casino, talking on HAM radio, and Friday night fish frys at the VFW.  They are together again, and missed by all who love them.
