Jesse W. Retzke

Of Stevens Point passed away early Saturday morning, August 17, 2024 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee following a massive heart a week earlier.

Jesse (46) was born October 22, 1977 in Stevens Point. He is the son of Charlene "Char" (Collar-Retzke) Dulske, and the step son of David Dulske, and son of the late Joseph B. Retzke. He attended local grade schools, graduating from Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH) in 1996.

His marriage to Merri Rousseau took place on October 31, 2015. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point.  Jesse worked on the farms of Cee-Dee Acres.

In his free time, he enjoyed throwing Horseshoes, shooting Darts, playing Farm Simulator on his computer and Play Station Games, and loved singing Karaoke.

Survivors include his wife Merri, a son Joseph Retzke, a daughter Tamara (Ryan) Pulley of New Orleans, LA., and one grandson Julian. Further survived by his four step children; Gavin, Breanna, Erin and River, his mother and step father Char (Dave) Dulske, and his siblings Nicole (Dan) Lockman of Wisconsin Rapids, a nephew Ryan Lockman, Step sister Tracy (Jim) Somers of Kingsley, MI, and a niece  Corbin Somers, and step sister; Trudy Ludwig and sister in law Darlene Ludwig and a niece Elizabeth and nephew Fred.

Jesse was preceded in death by his father Joseph Retzke, and a brother Fred.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in his name will be established at a later date.

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Rookies Sports Pub in Stevens Point from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM. There will be a Remembrance Service at 1:30 PM at Rookies.
